Our Mission
Teal Wings of Hope is dedicated to advancing the fight against ovarian and gynecological cancers by helping to position UAB Gynecology/Oncology as a national leader in research and patient care.
Through community-driven initiatives, we aim to promote awareness, fund groundbreaking research for early detection and treatment innovations, and provide compassionate support for patients and their families.

Promoting broader understanding of ovarian and gynecological cancers to reduce late-stage diagnoses.
Funding and advocating for innovations to enable the earliest possible detection of ovarian cancer.
Supporting trials and research for new therapies, including less invasive and less toxic options, such as chemo pills.
Enhancing care for patients through resources, support services, and access to cutting-edge treatment at UAB.
Our Results
Funds contributed to the Gynecological Oncology Department the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2024.
Survival rate when ovarian cancer is detected early
Our work contributes to research and treatment efforts that will hopefully one day drive that number to 100%.
